<br /> <br /> <br /> COUNTY OF NEWELL - POLICY HANDBOOK <br /> <br /> POLICY NO: 2016-PAG-022 <br /> <br />TITLE: RENTAL EQUIPMENT <br />ADOPTED: November 24, 2016 (C-372/16) SUPERCEDES NO: 2014-PAG-022 <br />TO BE <br />REVIEWED: PAGE NO: 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />POLICY PURPOSE: <br /> <br />The purpose of this policy is to outline the equipment that the Agricultural Services <br />department rents out. <br /> <br />POLICY GUIDELINES: <br /> <br />Rental equipment will be maintained by the Agricultural Services department. <br />Rental equipment will be maintained to a standard to limit downtime for renters. <br /> <br />All equipment will undergo an annual inspection to proactively evaluate condition <br />and perform preventative maintenance. <br /> <br />Rental equipment is made available to ratepayers to help facilitate weed control, <br />pest control or soil conservation. <br /> <br />The terms and obligations to be met for the use of County-owned rental equipment <br />are found on the appropriate Rental Agreement Forms. <br /> <br />The Agricultural Services Department will have the following equipment available <br />for rent: <br /> <br />Sprayers: <br />Back-Pack Sprayers <br /> Bale Buster II <br /> 2 - Boomless Sprayers <br />Meter Miser Sprayer <br />2 - Sponge Herbicide Applicator <br />2 - Quad Sprayer <br />Insecticide Sprayer <br />Eco-Bran 20 Spreader <br /> Eco-Bran 60 Spreader <br /> <br />Drills: <br />2 - John Deere 1590 No-Till Drills <br /> John Deere Press Drill <br /> 2 - Brillion Seeders <br />Lister Shovels <br /> <br /> <br />
